I take a flat piece of linoleum, ink it excessively, then with a knife scratch off black till the white shows through. This block is then press to the rice paper. Once this single print is made, the design is covered in ink to make a new image. Then, I sign it and title it.
The art is packaged and shipped inside a plastic shield, matted, and double wrapped and labeled to ensure it arrives safely. Once opened it can easily fit inside a standard 8x10 frame, and rest against a wall (in the meantime).
